How to get rid of Tattoos Naturally

A Less Painful Way to Get Rid of Tattoos

By Ashley M Ford

I am super shocked about this, apparently there is a new way for you to get rid of an unwanted tattoo. And it does not included going to several laser removal sessions. I have just read an article claiming that there is a cream that can be injecting into your tattoo and it will literally push out the ink to the surface of your skin and will leave your skin scar free and have no evidence of a tattoo every being there.

Supposedly, there are some cosmetic surgeons that say they can get rid of the ink by injecting your skin with a cream which softens the ink and pushes it to the surface. And within six to eight weeks after a scab falls off the ink from your tattoo falls off with it and you are left with non noticeable tattoo free skin.

Some experts claim that this new procedure has been used here in the United States and that it is much cheaper and a lot less painful than the laser removal option and it also has little to no scarring compared to laser removal.

This new treatment is currently being done in London. Stuart Harrison, director of Oxford Skin Clinics, said: "This works by using the body's natural processes. The reason the tattoo stays there is that a coating is put around the link to protect it from the body's immune response.

"But this cream makes the ink identifiable to the body so that it realises the ink is there and starts rejecting it and healing itself."

Sturwart also added how the process feels,

"It is uncomfortable rather than painful, but it is less painful than having the tattoo itself and certainly a lot less painful than having laser treatment.

So if you have any unwanted tattoos on your body maybe you should look into this procedure.

Learning Photoshop for the Beginner

Learning Photoshop For the New Photoshop User

By James McAlister

There are many photo editing programs on the market but Adobe Photoshop is among the best. Learning Photoshop can be a bit daunting for the new user, but the skills are definitely worth it. A skilled Photoshop user can find employment in many industries and make a lot of money. The uses for this program go beyond simple photo creation, and branch off into many facets of the industry.

At first learning Photoshop consists of basic editing, and selection skills. For some it may seem tedious but these are essential building blocks for what you will learn later. It takes about a full year to become proficient enough in the program to be hired by someone. It has many functions, and isn't something you can jump right into to earn money.

When they reach this point the Photoshop user can do a great deal of things. They can create magazine covers, pieces of art, mixed pages from different pictures, articles with artistic flare to them, and photo restoration. Photo restoration is a very big consumer need at the moment. Many people that have old photos scan them into their systems for safe keeping.

Unfortunately these scans will also pick up any wrinkles, or marks on the photographs. However Photoshop can remove these wrinkles from the scans. You can also colorize black and white pictures, and patch damaged photos. These are just a few of the functions a Photoshop user has available to them. It can also do complex cutting, editing, selecting, and general rearranging of all forms. If there is something you want to modify the program can modify it.

The amount of functions and capabilities that you can perform in Photoshop are too numerous to list in their entirety. Needless to say, learning Photoshop can be a very rewarding experience. It can also be a very fun experience if you like working with this sort of thing. Knowing how to make custom images, and alter photos can lead to high paying careers in the film and game industry.

As more people use special effects in their movies and video games become more vividly detailed, there is a constant need for good texture artists. A texture artist is a person skilled in image editing and creation, like a Photoshop user. These artists are the ones that make the models in special effects and games look like real objects and not grey blocks.

It does require some hard work but learning Photoshop and its advanced capabilities can really pay off. An experienced Photoshop user can make great works of art. They can even bring more detail and some interesting visual effects to pictures. When combined with other forms of media generating programs the results can be outstanding. Of course it can be frantic sometimes trying to keep all the operations straight.

So in closing whether you're learning Photoshop for the first time, or are an experienced Photoshop user, it's never to late to learn more. The program can edit all sorts of images and pictures, and even restore damaged photos. Becoming a texture artist with this program can lead to a high paying career. Or you can just learn to use it for the fun of it.

Learning Photoshop is challenging and mastery of the program requires organized and comprehensive training. For an excellent series of video tutorials that take you from beginner to intermediate and beyond as quickly as possible, check out our Learning Photoshop tutorial.

How to start Silk Painting

How to Start Silk Painting - Silk Painting is Pure Joy

By Fiona Stolze

Have you ever stopped in a shop to look at a hand painted silk scarf and held your breath at the beautiful colours and the luxurious feel of it? I have many a time and although I've been painting professionally on silk for years now, it is still a pure joy to admire original work created by someone who loves colour. And it's even more of a pure joy to paint on silk yourself.

I just wanted to use this space to share with you my enthusiasm and passion for silk painting in the hope that you might allow that spark to grow and venture to try it out for yourself if you haven't done so already.

What I hear so often is that people tend to believe that it costs a lot of money to get kitted out with enough materials to begin this hobby. But let me tell you this. It needn't cost you any more than you want it to. There are many ways of starting out on a low budget whilst still being able to produce fabulous, vibrant silk paintings that you can proudly show off to your family and friends. Low cost watercolour brushes for applying the dyes, drawing pins or tacks to affix the silk and left over pieces of wood to create a simple frame all help to keep the costs down.

Another thing many people say about themselves is that they don't have enough talent, that they aren't arty enough. Hey, everyone is arty in their own way. And the beautiful thing about silk painting is that it is so forgiving. You can apply simple brush strokes and techniques and create images that are really gorgeous. The silk glows and the colours are vibrant which means that your artwork takes on a life of its own, enchanting everyone who looks at it. You just can't go wrong.

Silk painting isn't just silk painting. You can do it in so many ways. Creating something magical to wear, making a wafty banner to hang in the breeze, creating a picture you can frame and enjoy for years to come. Or how about some truly original soft furnishings you can pep up your living space with. There's really no end to what you can think up and make.

So what would be the first step if you fancy having a go? There are those who feel very at home picking a book from the shelves of their local bookstore and dipping into it in the privacy of their own home. And then again there are many who prefer the group dynamic and who sign up for a local class for some basic silk painting tuition. The benefit of this is that you have the support of a teacher who is on hand in case things are going quite the way you expected them to. So rather than panic, you can have fun, turning potential fiascos into interesting, creative artwork.

And imagine how much fun you can have if you normally surround yourself with subdued tones, but then dare to indulge in the vibrant oranges, reds and turquoises of silk painting? Talk about an energy lift.

I don't think there's anything to beat silk painting for pure joy, fun and free expression. Have I managed to convince you yet? I hope I have.

If you'd like to find out more about the work I do, please have a look at my blog or visit my website. I look forward to seeing you there. Enjoy

By Edith Ozera

Graffiti is a visual practice of expressing oneself through writing letters or drawing pictures on the wall. It is accepted as an art by some circles but considered as vandalism by some others.

When we consider the shapes plotted in the walls of the craves in the ancient time, we can say that this way of expressions can go back to the primitive ages. But the impetus for modern graffiti as the art of drawing on the walls was the hip-hop youth subculture which appeared in 1970s in the USA.

Today, this art is used not only by hip-hoppers, but also by many other people who are called as writers. Thus, graffiti has developed into a real graphic art of writings on the walls which requires a great deal of imagination, planning, and effort. When drawing graffiti requires going through the following steps:

  • Sketching
  • Planning out characters

A vast majority of graffiti artist prefer to hide their identity, but instead use nicknames and add symbols and interesting pictures to their signatures which can be numerical symbols and logos. Bubble lettering and tagging are the two most popular graffiti styles among the beginners. In bubble lettering round letters resembling merging bubbles are used. Tagging is putting tags as signatures. On the other hand the complex graffiti styles are wild style implying tangled and illegible letters which can only be read by the writer.
